Trailwork with MiniCrew - Windy Saddle - Last one this year!!

After-work trail care right in our backyard. Help out our sport! It's hard to say no to this, since it's so close and, let's face it, undemanding on one's available time for mtn biking. :)

Time: 5:30pm - until the sun starts to go down

Location: Windy Saddle Lot, Chimney Gulch Trail.

What to bring: work gloves, water (e.g., hydration pak), clothing layers, comfortable shoes (e.g., hiking shoes), & snacks (if you can't live without dinner before 7pm)

Registration is encouraged. Register here: http://www.minicrew.org/index.php?option=com_fabrik&view=form&fabrik=4&random=0&Itemid=168

The Plan:  Fun.  Our specific tasks will be determined on the day before the event.

MiniCrew is a group local mountain bikers in Jefferson County, Colorado that created a volunteer program to assist in the maintenance on JeffCo Open Space Trails. The Mini Crew Program is designed as an after-work-couple-of-hours volunteer opportunity. Meeting on the 3rd Thursday of the month May through September, these mountain bikers join efforts to proactively improve trail conditions and spread goodwill to all trail users.

This is the LAST ONE this year! If you've not done any trailwork this year, please come out & give us a hand.

***There is NO excuse for using the trails & not giving back to the mtn biking community.***

More details about minicrew are here: http://www.minicrew.org. I look forward to seeing you!!!

Is that the small parking lot right after you cross the pavement with the look out?

Yes, I think that sounds like it! The parking lot with the overlook with the western view. If you are climbing Chimney Gulch, you cross Lookout Mountain road to get to this lot, and then the trail continues after going through this lot.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
