YOU'LL BE PLACED ON THE "YES" LIST ON HERE AFTER YOU HAVE REGISTERED. Please READ EVERYTHING BELOW IN DETAIL BEFORE RSVPing * * *
Dear Denver Photo Hikers,
I am excited to announce that we will be participating in the Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series® on Saturday, March 2nd at Frisco Nordic Center!
You are encouraged to join in the fun on the family-friendly 5k snowshoe walk. Will you join us this year? Please feel free to invite friends and family to join in the day of hope, celebration and remembrance. Simply follow the links at the bottom to learn more and register for our team.
Never snowshoed before? Already an expert? Regardless of experience level we will have a blast helping to stomp out breast cancer one snowshoe step at a time. If you don’t have snowshoes, don’t worry! Tubbs Snowshoes will be on hand with free snowshoe demos on a first come, first serve basis.
ALREADY HAVE PLANS? SNOWED IN?
If you cannot join us in person, we would be honored if you would still sign up for our team through the Virtual Snowshoer registration option. If you choose this option, please refrain from RSVPing here for logistic reasons, but rather put in the comments section that you are a virtual participant (meaning you are raising money from home and not out with us at the event). I will start one special comment thread for those of you participating virtually... simply just add a reply under my comment thread that you are a virtual participant.
You may also make a donation in support our fundraising goal of $1500 (however, I would love to double that goal)!
This is for a great cause, and Our Team has been registered! Please go to the bottom of this page for instructions to join the team on the Tubbs Romp to Stomp website (not this one). Please register as a participant there before RSVPing here. If you RSVP here before registering as a participant, you will remain on the waitlist until you are registered on the Romp to Stomp website under the Denver Photo Stompers Team. As long as you have joined the Denver Photo Stompers team, you will be moved from the Waiting list to the YES list. Please don't take this personally, it's just a way to help myself keep track for logistic reasons.
Once you register as part of the team, you can RSVP on here. Some of you have already RSVP'd here... please put in your team registry via the link and instructions at the bottom of the page, and also re-do your RSVP on here as I have added some required questions to the RSVPs (Click on Change RSVP, Change your RSVP, and answer the questions). You will get early bird registration pricing of $27 if you sign up by January 18th. After January 18th, the registration goes up to $37 per person, and even more on the day of the event.
Since it starts so early in the morning, I will also be looking into possible overnight accommodations for Friday night so we can possibly attend their "Town of Frisco Pink Party", where you can come to the Romp to Stomp Priority Check-in at Holiday Inn Summit County, meet up with your friends and enjoy the Pink Party! The Pink Party will boast light appetizers from local restaurants, a free drink for Romp participants, and fantastic trunk sales to help deck you out for the Romp. A good time will be had by all!
Both Men and Women are encouraged to participate, and will be encouraged to have fun getting decked out in goofy pink attire! :)
As a team, we will have a team goal of raising $600 ($100 more than their minimum of $500), but of course more is better, and we would look like rockstars if we do raise more!
