The Amaz!ng Meeting 6 in Las Vegas

An International Conference on Critical Thinking, June 19 - 22, 2008 in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hilton.
It will be the biggest skeptic event of the year!
Speakers include: Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, PZ Myers, Matthew Chapman, Sharon Begley, Phil Plait (the Bad Astronomer), Penn & Teller, Richard Saunders, Dr. Richard Wiseman, Dr. Michael Shermer, Adam Savage (from the Mythbusters), Steve Novella, Christopher Hitchens and Paul Provenza. (subject to change)
At TAM5 in January 2007, about eight members of our then-new group attended (Elaine, Reed, Dumb All Over, Grayman, MC Bidlack, RichO, RichL and TJ.) This time around we hope to increase those numbers dramatically!

I am so there!!! Arrive late on the 18th and leave O'dark hundred on Sunday. Staying at the Circus, Circus. But I won't be able to register for the conference for another two weeks, so I still don't know what I'll be doing.

Talked alot about our skeptics group here in Denver and all the things right and wrong about organized skepticism. Pushed the Skepticamp idea, giving away 60+ brochures and talking to dozens about it from around the world. Will I be attending TAM7 in July of 2009? Wouldn't miss it!
