SkeptiCamp Colorado 2 - in Castle Rock

UPDATE: we were featured on the Skepchick blog and see Rich and Crystal interviewed on the Tank Vodcast.

Come join us at SkeptiCamp Colorado 2, our second installment of a regional skeptics conference based upon the barcamp idea.

The great experiment of SkeptiCamp started last August with the first event. It was a terrific success and had upwards of 30 attendees with 10 presentations throughout the day.

Our own Rich Ludwig of Aspen is organizing this event. Contact him if you'd like to volunteer to assist.

Though not required, please consider doing a short presentation (10-25mins) on a skeptical topic important to you!

This is an all-day event and will end when the library closes at 5pm.

There is no cost to this event, thanks to the generous donations of the sponsors. Amy secured the location for us. The James Randi Educational Foundation will be providing lunch and swag.

Kudos to the organizers! I'm delighted to see such a delightful grassroots forum taking off for skeptics.

Getting to experience clarity and sanity in such healthy doses makes returning to the paranormal world exceedingly painful!

Skepticism and Critical Thinking, Reed was on point as always, Vaccines and Autism, excellent presentation from a well spoken doctor, Rich's funtastic and witty trivia challenge, and another very interesting presentation from Baxter and pals on paranormal research (or rather debunking). Had a blast, can't wait until next time!
