Come join us for our regular monthly gathering of Drinking Skeptically in Boulder!
Danny Schade of the Reason-Driven Podcast hosts a monthly get-together at the Old Chicago on the Pearl Street Mall on the first Wednesday of every month.
Drinking Skeptically provides an opportunity for skeptics to talk, share ideas (and yes, drink) in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. We discuss the issues of the day and topics related to science and skepticism. But most of all, we have fun while promoting skepticism, science, and rationality.
And we should really learn how to do the spoon bending, but bring old spoons if you're interested in trying this!
Non-drinkers are welcome as well. As you might expect, drinkers are strongly encouraged to drink responsibly.
There are three Drinking Skeptically events each month in Colorado. Apart from Boulder mentioned above there's also Denver and in Colorado Springs!

Tim Alexander+1 guestI had a great time. I dont know how often I can attend a Drinking Skeptically in BOULDER, but I will be attending more in the future. You guys were fun. To be fair, drinking anywhere is a great time whether with skeptics or not. However, drinking with you Boulder skeptics was a very fun time. Now its time to give the Drinking Skeptically in DENVER a shot (no pun intended).

Thaddeus T BrzyckiIt wa the best meeting so far. The conversations with Stuart, Derek, John and the rest were great! I left before any spoons were bent, woulda like to stay, but I stayed up the night before to watch the election results.
