Why do you want to learn German?

I want to teach German because I think knowing more than one language is a great thing. It's good for your brain, adds cultural diversity and is certainly a good skill to add to your resume.

Please tell us about your German :-)

Well, I'm a native speaker, originally from Austria in a small town in the Alps near Innsbruck, so some people might say High German is my first foreign language (haha, just kidding). My "teaching German" is a neutral standard German, but I'm happy to give you a taste of what a real dialect sounds like.

What do you find hardest about learning German?

hands down DER DIE DAS and the case system.

Hi. I'm Martina and a dedicated German Language Teacher. I simply LOVE teaching the language, which is why I started DerDieDas-German Classes Brisbane 3 years ago. This Meetup Group is our community extension to give everyone the chance to learn some
