Leicester Vegan Fair

The Leicester Vegan Fair will be held on Saturday the 23rd of November from 10:30 till 3:30 at the Friends Meeting House on Queens Road. Stalls, food, talks and live music, plus a huge fenced garden for the kids to run around in :-)

No need to be vegan or even vegetarian - just come and enjoy a great day out.

For those considering public transport, it is a 15 minute walk from the train station (through a nice park) or you can catch the number 44 bus from outside the train station to near the venue.

I will be there running the amazing chance to have a vegan gift for £1 game - see you there!

Hello all ,I am a cheeky sort of person ,hows this for a suggestion ? We are having a new kitchen fitted on oct 14th ,so it's out of action for a week.Lets all have a come dine with me ,vegan style of course-for that week.Does anyone have the narrator on that progs wit? Anyone like curry? I could cook you one!-when our new kitchen is ready.Anne's a fantastic cook btw.She has told me not to hype it up to quote-modesty and stuff.

I would be up for this but have such a small house we would either be eating on knees or could only invite 2 round for dinner...I will list it as a concept/event and see if we have any other takers :) Are you thinking a group of us take it in turns to host that week and just list the number of spaces we can accommodate or have I misinterpreted?? Alternatively if it eases the pressure, there is probably at least one PK that week and you would both be welcome round to mine one night :) no different to couch surfing really.

It would be good fun ,either that or Anne and I live on takeaways for a week.We only have a dining table for four ,unless we use garden furniture to sit on.We could do it individually or a group taking turns, either way any vegans in the group would be welcome at our house. We could make it non competitive -without the big cash prize for the winner.Oh and no guests falling out like on the tv programme!
