Even though the temp was low (~ 5) it was a great time

I really enjoyed seeing everyone and our four legged friends too! What a great trail for cardio! I'll be back to that one again.
Hi guys, I'm going to ditch the date today, sorry to say. 3 degrees going up to 7 is a little extreme for me! I hope we get a chance for something a LITTLE more moderate! Have fun!
I'm going to try to brave the temp. I'm more of a 30 degree snowshoer, but I'm REAL tired of being indoors! Also, I got my snowshoes at Play It Again Sports in Clive, new for $50. They also have some used pairs, depending on your size.

A little extra snow this morning will make for great conditions. Browns Woods is a great place to go and the hills make for a nice workout. You can go for miles back in those woods.
Sorry I won't be able to make it anymore! I got busy with work and I'll have to work through when we would meet. I'll try to make the next meetup!

Hi Ian, we'll look forward to meeting you at another outing. In the meantime, I hope work goes well!
Hi! Do you have an idea how long we'll be out on Sunday? Thanks!
Hi Karen we are usually out for 1-2 hours depending on the trail.
Hi Sarah, there is not a place at this park to rent them. However, if you don't have your own, Rassmussen Bikes near 63rd and Grand rents them. And, Boulevard Sports near Roosevelt shopping does too. I think Active Endeavors does as well.

Is there a place to rent snow shoes at this park, or do we need to bring our own?

Look forward to getting out again!
