The Shambhala Meditation Center of Chicago continues to offer the Monday Night Sitting Group in Des Plaines at St. Martin's Episcopal Church. Sitting and walking meditation, discussion and social time from 6:30 – 8:30  in the parish house (directly across the driveway from the church) at

All are welcome. Instruction will be provided for those who are new to sitting meditation. The group is reading together Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior by Chogyam Trungpa.

    Hi Heidi. Yes, casual/comfortable clothes...something you can sit or kneel in (unless you choose to meditation sitting in a chair). The group also typically does walking meditation...walking in our socks (so wear socks you're willing to have seen).
