I'm sorry I missed the group paddle. I camped at the Lake that weekend and attempted to paddle over from the other end of the lake and catch up, but it was just not possible for me in that wind. "Brisk" is a very kind description! Hope to make it another time.

It was great fun and a bit of work with the early day wind. I always enjoy paddling with this nice group of folks.

I'm admittedly ignorant of the lakes around Phoenix, but the map location does not look to be anywhere near a lake. Maybe you could fix the map. Am I missing something? How long would it take to get to this boat ramp from central Phoenix? Thanks!

Tracy - just checked the map - it is correct I would plan on at least 30 minutes - 45 min would be better from Central Phx

Thanks, it's working for me now -- it was showing Morristown when I clicked on it the other day and not the boat ramp.

Anyone have reasonably priced (<$100) suggestions on clothing for AZ winter paddling. This is my first trip out since the temps have dropped. I have cool weather paddling gloves covered already. Thanks.

Layers with a water repellant layer on top - PFD always goes on the outside

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
