Eldorado Jeep Trail-Camping Trip

This will be a very easy and short trail for anyone wanting a quick close to home trip . We will start the dirt trail at Willow Beach heading south thorough Jumbo Wash. Then we will head west on the Eldorado Jeep trail until we reach the Colorado River.

Bring plenty of water and food. Plan for lunch and dinner on Saturday, Breakfast on Sunday.

Round trip from the gas station is 95mi, so extra fuel should not be needed.

I changed the meetup location to the Railroad Pass Casino. They have a bigger parking lot to hold the number of people going this weekend.

Optional: meet up an hour early for breakfast, 8:00am.

We will be departing the parking lot at 9:30

Does anyone know whether you can catch fish in this area? I think swinging flies might work best, but I've never fished in Vegas.

Will this be in the park ? Will we be able to have a open fire ?

    February 23

    • Robb

That would be great Jessika. I think it might be Tom trying to sacrifice Todd.

Will we be at a camp site with pits or is it a build your own ?

    February 24

    • Robb

Usually there are pits already there. If not we'll build our own. This is not predefined "Campsite". It's what we call a dry site. No amenities just pull in and set up where ever you want. We just have to stay in the wash or areas that where already used by others. We don't want to distroy any natural vegetation by being there.
