Discussion: "No Wide Screen" Constraint

What if we flipped things around and stopped designing for the desktop at all?

Dave Rupert was recently in town for In Control Conf. He was discussing doing some research about the woes of responsive web design and how the complexity really kicks in at the wide screen level. We can chat about it, using some examples, and share our thoughts to help with the research.

We'll look at some sites and discuss how they transition from small screens to large screens. Some starters are the new Time.com, TED.com, and Dibbble.com. Come with thoughts of other sites in mind and we'll chat about what this web could look like.

Very interesting takes on the challenges in developing a design that works across a variety of screen sizes. Too bad I had to leave early.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
