effective brainstorming, prototyping services and non-physical products, moving from brainstorming to action items, how to convince non-design thinking-like-people that this 'radical' way of ::gasp:: collaborating works, entering joint design competitions (see Core77 and some other sites for competitions)
It has been a 4+ year journey of realizing my passion of the emergence of engineering and visual collaboration that is human-centered and business-focused. It has been difficult to find design thinkers in the area and previously, I didn't have the focus to start my own efforts in DC (born and raised here). After a long struggle of deciding to just move to the Bay area vs. stay here, I decided to stay here and focus my efforts on creating more design-thinking initiatives in this area. I joined Design Thinking DC to talk with you guys more about your approaches to the topic and how you use it both in personal and professional lives. Look forward to creating and brainstorming together!
Working with a design thinking and service innovation firm in Washington D.C. called Peer Insight! I actually found out about Peer Insight through this meetup! I can't wait to connect more with each and every one of you to more about DT in DC!
This will change DC.
