...And Many More!!!

This month we are thrilled to be bringing together retailers from all over Milwaukee! Make sure you come and stay to learn what's happening with Milwaukee's retail scene and what plans the city has in store (no pun intended) moving forward. Mini store fronts will be posted up throughout the Meetup space where you will be able to peruse and mingle while enjoying, as always, Transfer Pizza!

There will be a variety of stores represented and a "Scope of Retail, Milwaukee style" panel hosted by Deanna Inniss of Freckle Face!

A NEW MONTH - A NEW LOCATION:
Pieper Properties has graciously offered "The Florida Street Building" at 234 W. Florida Street in Milwaukee's Walker Point Neighborhood. Starting in 1910, the Gem Hammock and Fly Netting Company occupied this building, producing hammocks and flynets. After that, the Allen D. Everitt Knitting Company stepped in and started making hats, mittens, blankets and scarves. In 2008, after several years of vacancy, Pieper Properties completely restored the building. Cream city brick, original timber and green sustainability are the key ingredients that went into the "modernization and all-around facelift" of 234 Florida.

A Walker's Point, Cream City Brick Building with bottle green glass. Pieper Properties kindly offered up their space in this registered for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified from the U.S. Green Building Council structure. The building space is available for lease and is flexible on floor plans keeping small businesses in mind. Thanks to Pieper Properties for providing their space for this month's meetup!
