The Designers' Education and Resource Forum's mission is to provide a resource for intellectual and practical education and discussion geared to enhancing the businesses of designers of various types.
This professional group is ideal for:
- interior designers
- fabric designers
- residential and commercial construction designers
- home and garden
- designers of windows
- designers of doors, flooring, furniture
- design students
- and more.
The objectives of this group are to
- provide designers of all types with an impactful experience pertaining to business growth and sustanability, and
- allow designers an opportunity for the free exchange of information.
The Forum will meet monthly and provide individuals and small business owners who are curious about incresing their businss results, and their client base, with strategies and inspiration to bring about clarity concerning daily activities and in forward thinking.
Joining this group, designers will have a forum for online and in person group discussion to address business challenges and foster business growth. We encourage an atmosphere of friendship and fun, along with the educational and resource components, which we feel will give designers a desire to stay plugged in and to participate.
We encourage regular attendance to all in-person meetings and invite you to spread the word; bring colleagues and business associates who you know can also benefit from being involved. More importantly, we invite you to establish relationships that will give you an opportunity to help others in their businesses, and you will see your business thrive.

We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10 am to 12:00 pm, however, live Forum sessions that will fulfill Continuing Education (CE) requirments, will be extended one or two hours, and will end at 1:00 or 2:00 pm. All communications will contain information about being a regular program, or a CE program.
We also encourage connecting with members on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks.
