Mobile Last or How I Learned to Love the iOS 7

Speaker: Roy Stanfield, Designer at Etsy

Price: $15 for early birds, $20 for regular

The iPhone launched in 2007 and has changed design forever. Designers find themselves spending more time optimizing for multiple platforms: desktops, mobile web, iOS and Android are all critical components of modern product strategy. In this talk, Roy Stanfield will take a look at how the proliferation of platforms is affecting designers. He'll look at several case studies, including tips from his experience designing native mobile experiences.

Roy Stanfield moved to New York in 2003 to participate in the local art scene. He found himself designing Artforum ads, print catalogues, and websites for several art galleries. With the launch of the iPhone in 2007, he dove into the NYC startup scene. His work includes Hashable, the Mixel app, and now Etsy. You can find examples of his work on his website, and follow him @RoyStanfield.

I'm a developer and I built a fun little iOS productivity app but I need some design help before release. If you are a designer and you want to do a few simple logos and designs send me a message.
