Can wildlife protection go too far? Unfair Game: The Politics of Poaching gives viewers a look at cost of poaching to indigenous people. This short documentary film features local environmental activists in Zambia and Swaziland who are working to save lives and protect wildlife. Their stories shed insight into the ongoing conflict between white conservationists and indigenous people in Africa. Emmy-nominee, filmmaker John Antonelli will be on-hand for discussion. This presentation is offered by Open Heart Safari, a program that endeavors to foster conscious tourism and greater awareness of human-wildlife issues in Africa. Laura Paradise and husband Tom Bennigson co-lead Open Heart Safari events throughout the year including a summer safari to Zambia and Botswana.
