DLL is open to a wide range of topics. What languages, paradigms, or topics interest you most? Are there any you don't see that you'd like to explore?

Clojure, Scala, Lisps, big data problems and interesting algorithms.

DLL is about discussion of interesting ideas. What are some topics you'd be willing to present on which you think would be of interest to the group?

Not sure, potentially some of the work we're doing with social media and natural language processing.

Hello, I'm Mark Walz. I work at Converseon, a NYC based social media company. We perform 'big data' social media analysis. I'm interested in learning more about functional languages, new technologies and helping the Detroit development community.
