DLL is open to a wide range of topics. What languages, paradigms, or topics interest you most? Are there any you don't see that you'd like to explore?

I am very interested in the workings of the JVM languages; my dream conference to attend would be the JVM Summit. I know it is rather 'buzzy' right now, but I would like to learn more about algorithms, paradigms and approaches for handling 'big data'.

DLL is about discussion of interesting ideas. What are some topics you'd be willing to present on which you think would be of interest to the group?

I am currently pretty focused on the Groovy programming language and its inner workings. I write the 'Groovy Under the Hood' articles for GroovyMag. I would be willing to present on some of the more intricate workings of Groovy that are a little too granular for the regular Detroit JUG. Examples include meta-programming, closures, AST transformations, etc.

I work with Java, Flex, Groovy and C#. My interests lie primarily in programming languages.
