Applying Lean Thinking to Legal Services

Jim Manley, managing director of the Demmer Center for Business Transformation at Eli Broad College of Business, has extensive experience applying lean thinking to manufacturing and, more recently, service organizations. Jim and Dan Linna will give a presentation on how lean principles can be applied to the provision of legal services. Jim and Dan will also discuss project management and how it differs from process improvement.

Parking is available on the street and in the unpaved lot on Erskine across from the building.

Appetizers and beverages will be provided. Thank you to Duff & Phelps for sponsoring the July 15 meetup and thank you to James Partridge for making that sponsorship happen!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
