Hi, I was referred to the group by existing member Amy Reese (she is Laika, Owen, and Salsa's mom). I have just moved back to the Detroit area with my two doxies, and we would like to get involved.

Why do you own Dachshunds?
I don't own any dachshunds. They own ME.
What is the size, coat and color of your Dachshund?
Alex is a LH black and tan purebred. Ollie is a chocolate and tan tweenie dachshund/jackrabbit/prairie dog mix. He is a LH but only has long hair on his ears, tail, and a little feathering on his legs.
When is your Dachshunds birthday?
Alex's birthday is May 12th, Ollie's is guessed to be somewhere at the end of July, but it is celebrated July 30th because the rescue had to make a guess.
