Royal Oak Riichi

Sunday Mahjong in Royal Oak!

We are usually at the big table in the back.

If you RSVP yes and then for whatever reason can't make it later, please change your RSVP to no. Being a 4 player game, we need to know how many people are actually going to be there.

I have the big table in back reserved for noon. I forgot that Steve isn't coming until 1-1:30, so in the meantime we can play some 3 player if you want.

I double booked myself... way too busy lately. I think I can be there between 1 and 1:30. I'll see you all then.

    Hi all,
Just wanted to toss this out to you all.
I've been looking for another venue to play MahJong that is a bit closer to home and I think I might have found one.
The Meijer grocery store at 8 Mile and Haggerty in Northville has a nice cafe space. I talked with the manager there and he has no problem with us playing there - as long as there is no gambling, which I told him was not an issue. He mentioned that folk come in there to play Scrabble.
The store is open 24/7 and the cafe is in one corner of the store. It is by the deli and munchie/beverage purchases can be made. It is also close to the restrooms!
What do folk think? I was thinking of playing the alternate week from the established Sunday and Thursday - maybe Tuesdays?
It is right off the I96 8 Mile exit so it is easy to get to - also, parking is free.
    Any thoughts??

Ok, I went ahead and made you an event organizer. You should be able to post new meetups now. Let me know if you have any issues.
