Angular JS - Creating Super Web Apps without a cape

Description:

Angular has been getting a lot of attention lately.  It has been described as "the XAML of the web".  The declarative nature of the framework allows you to partition your code for testability and reuse.  We'll discuss the features and history of the framework, how to set it up, and how to write tests.

Great presentation, very informative and great examples. Quick question - would it be possible to post the presentation slides on meetup?

You might be interested to know there are a couple books on this subject. Freeman's seems to be the most highly rated (http://www.amazon.com/Pro-AngularJS-Adam-Freeman/dp/1430264489/).

Great presentation; I'm giving some consideration to Angular now. One question: does using it cause problems from an a11y standpoint (screenreaders and so on)?

If anyone has rsvp'd but can't make it tonight, can you do me a favor and update your rsvp so I can get a more accurate count to order pizza? Thanks.

I have never worked with AngularJS before. Is this for beginners or advanced programmers?

    2 · April 29, 2014

I'm pretty sure if your familiar with web programming and javascript you'll get something from it. I saw him present this topic a few weeks ago and I've not done any AngularJS either.
