Esri Dev Meet Up - Houston Just Got a Little Hotter!

We will be hosting an Esri Dev Meet Up on Monday, October 8th at Pappadeaux's. Food and beverages will be provided at the meet up.

The Esri Dev Meet Up is a social gathering for developers to discuss geospatial technologies, complementary third-party tools, and development platforms (e.g., Silverlight, Java, Flex, JavaScript) that are supported by Esri. Presentations run the gamut of our community: from Web development to mobile location development for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 to automating tasks with Python.

Developers of all levels of expertise are welcome, from seasoned GIS professionals to those new to geospatial development.

At these meet ups, you can:

Demonstrate your application or framework.
Present an interesting concept or idea.
Share your experiences.
Connect with other developers.

All of the talks were very informative. Gave me much to think about which is cool.

Now that Adobe officially has given up Flex, and Microsoft will not upgrade Silverlight pass version 5, and who knows what to become of HTML 5, does anybody know what Esri is going to be promoting at the next Dev Summit?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
