Hi - I'm John Yaist, a Technology Lead with the Esri Developer Network Team here in Redlands. I'm a part of this group to orchestrate Dev Meet Ups and help build a stronger community of software developers.
Are you currently developing with Esri technology?
I've recently entered The Snake Pit. I'm delving into Python as a language for Geoprocessing within the ArcGIS Suite of products. To call me a novice might be just giving me too much experience as a programmer! But, if my personal history has a say, I will learn to get the computer to do what I want it to more often...eventually.
What development language(s) are you using?
Python for now.
What geo spatial technologies are you most interested in?
ArcGIS Server, in particular the Geodatabase within RDBMs and integrating with Web Services
