Thanks for the feedback everybody. I had fun presenting and the opinionated discussions were great. If anyone wants to look at the presentation, I've posted it on SpeakerDeck at https://speakerdeck.com/graphex/nosql-survey

Like a Polynesian islander catching a glimpse of Amelia Earhart, tonight's talk was interesting and fascinating but was ultimately way over my head and probably will remain a mystery. NoSQL is a fascinating development but as an Ops guy and not a developer, I can tell it will be hard for me to do more than scratch the surface in understanding it. Still, thanks to Sean for presenting on such a timely and complex subject.
Great presentation, delicious food & beer, and a great group. Thanks very much!
Hi everyone, I can't seem to find a subject for tonight's meeting. What's the planned talk for tonight?
Keynote: Sean McKibben will presenting a survey-level NoSQL talk covering a number of the most popular NoSQL datastores, discussing ACID, the CAP Theorem, and data denormalization. He'll include some info on Redis, Riak, HBase, Mongo, and HyperDex.
Awesome, was this information posted somewhere? I still can't seem to find it listed here on the event page.
Yes, the agenda was sent to everyone in the group, and is posted on the group discussion board under "DevOps Boulder March Agenda" http://www.meetup.com...
I'm well and not travelling. It'll be great to be back!!
