Mindfulness Yoga for Meditation-Every 1st, 3rd, & 4th Tuesday

We all have the capacity to awaken in this life and one of the ways to access this awakened consciousness, anytime, anywhere, is through the observation of our breath. In the Anapanasati Sutra, the Buddha offered a way to help us remember to breathe and enjoy our breath.

Join us for a rotating series of the Buddha’s teachings on Insight meditation. Learn and explore a seated yoga posture routine that is specifically designed to support meditation. Each gathering includes basic instruction, inspiration, and the application of postures & insight meditation. Experience the life-enhancing benefits of establishing and maintaining a regular meditation routine.

There will be a series of yoga poses, 15 min. of group study through the heart of the Sutra on the Full Awareness of Breath, and meditation instruction. We will then meditate for 45 min. the using sixteen methods the Buddha taught in reparation for establishing stable mindfulness.

All levels of experience are welcome.
