Developers for Good Open Hours with Exversion at ThoughtWorks

We'll hear from Marianne Bellotti, co-founder and CTO of Exversion, and learn about the technology that powers Exversion's open data platform as well as how social enterprises can use Exversion to make sense of their data.

Exversion makes data easily accessible, manageable, and consumable.

Developers for Good open hours is a way for

• Non-profit and social mission organizations to access technical expertise

• Developers to share knowledge and make an impact

• Aspiring developers to learn about real projects

More about Exversion:

Exversion believes that data inherently wants to be free, and should be open and easily accessible to all. By making data open, individuals and organizations are able to derive insight, create applications, drive innovation, and create enterprise

Exversion also believe that data should be easy to publish, distribute, collaborate on and version control. To this end, they’re building a set of tools for both data publishers and consumers, with the end goal being again accessibility.

The presentation by Exversion was really impressive! Marianne gave us a great demo of the system and was able to answer all of our questions.

What are you trying to do? I've hacked around with it *alot*, but do not describe myself as an expert.

I code HTML/CSS/JQUERY for my clients, and then do the WP templates. Always looking for good local collaborators who are good at customizing the admin and creating custom solutions on the backend and helping with front-end stuff like slideshows/dropdowns when I get stumped.
