What kind of coder are you? (e.g. Junior/Senior Rubyist /Data Scientist, etc.) -OR- If you represent a social good organization, what is it called and what cause are you working on?

I am mostly self-taught. I know HTML, some CSS, Wordpress, media creation/editing, and am fearless digging into most technology. As a librarian my most important tech work involves building & running tech services for users, project management for digital library (preservation & access) projects, and helping scholars understand how to find and use tech solutions for their digital scholarship.

Are you currently working on any projects that use technology for social good? If so, please share the website(s) so we can help, too!

Two projects that I have managed for more than 10 years are designed to make previously unique and at risk materials available to the world:

I am a librarian & a mother. I like figuring out how things work, making things, & playing with technology. I want to help create a world where people-regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, etc.- can engage with tech free of discrimination.
