Introduction

Hi my name is Erin Hersey and I am helping launch a new MFA Program in Design for Social Innovation at SVA starting Fall 2012 (dsi.sva.edu). Interested in reaching out to people who might be interested in how their skills can be used for good.

What kind of technologist are you? Or if you represent a social mission organization, what's it called and what are your goals?

Design for Social Innovation and our goal is to promote systemic and holistic change models by empowering entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs with design skills and thinking that will create lasting positive change. I am also working with an Agile Consultancy that specializes in e-Business called Avenue Code (avenuecode.com)

Are you currently working on any projects that use technology for social good?

Yes, our program has faculty from Games For Change and will be focusing also on how do you leverage technology appropriately to make change
