My name is Mark and I'm a hacker meets politico.
What kind of technologist are you? Or if you represent a social mission organization, what's it called and what are your goals?
I am the co-founder and president of digital democracy - a nonprofit that empowers marginalized communities though tech to better their futures. We value free and open source tools and work with groups from at the grassroots to impact the grasstops.
Are you currently working on any projects that use technology for social good?
We're working on a system to systematically prevent rape in Haiti as well as tools to securely document human rights abuses in repressive regimes.
