Buddhist studies

In this group we meditate and discuss Buddhist scriptures. The workshops are conducted by Venerable Bhante Anuruddha. Learn more in the "About us" section.

Schedule:

10:30 Meditation

11:30 Get together

12:00 Lunch

13:00 Sutta studies and discussion

16:00 Meditation

16:30 Open end

Cost: Participation is free of charge, but you can make a donation to the temple, if you wish.

Food: Lunch is offered by the Singhalese people. Please tell us if you want to bring additional food.

Language: We will read the texts in both English and German. Bhante speaks both languages. The discussion may flip flop between English and German, but there will always be somebody to translate.

Participation conditions: There are none. But participants should have an open mind. The texts a convey a radical message which is impossible to fully grasp in a single workshop.

Questions: You may call Peter at[masked] if you need directions to the temple or have questions about the meeting.

Hello Maria, my first time at this event too! I suggest that we take the train leaving from platform 13 at 9:38. I'll be at your yoga class on Friday evening. So we at least we'll have no problem recognising each other!

Will anyone else be travelling to Lenzburg by train from Zurich HB? If so, I suggest that we meet at the HB beforehand.

Hi Tony, sorry for replying late, I just arrived from somewhere without much internet. I think Peter doesn't need to take the train. I will take the train from HB. Haven't planned which one though. I live in Thalwil. Maybe we could take the train together, it is ok with me. I haven't been to the location though, it will be my first time. Take care

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
