AXIS Dance Company at Proctors, Sat. Oct. 26 , 2pm matinee

AXIS Dance Company is an award winning dance group that integrates dancers with and without disabilities. See the Proctor's website ( ) for more info, including a video (click on 'calendar' on the Proctors site).  OK, I'm disabled and I still think 'limitation' when I admit that.  Watching this video helps me see that there are many more views to consider!

"I didn't see it until I believed it."  Beliefs need to be woken up at times ... I know mine do! This event is open to all ages.

The performance will raise money for state of the art equipment for the Neuro-Rehab Institute at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital (tickets are $20,  I (Sue) will help cover 50% of the cost of tickets for DIESL members who are interested, just let me know.)

A good reminder of how strong and talented modern dancers are! A wonderful opportunity to see some engaging and creative dances done by remarkable artists. And yes, some of the dancers were what would be designated disabled, but their ABility was what the performance was about.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
