newcomer settlement issues (especially as they pertain to immigrant and refugee children and youth), women's rights (in Canada and abroad with a focus on the empowerment of girls), Aboriginal rights in Canada and bridging the gap between them and other ethnicities
creating and leading youth programming, community event organization, grant writing
exploring random neighbourhoods, attending live music especially classical and jazz but I also like hearing new artists, going bowling
Hi Anika! You would have received a message about changing the meetup from Dec. 13 to another breakfast meeting on Jan. 12. With such few numbers signed up for the dinner, it seemed better to postpone. Just wanted to make sure you got the update. Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas. Hope to see you at the next one. Jaye
