At the last in our series on modernity and social theory we come to Jürgen Habermas (born 1929), one the of the most influential philosophers alive today and great theorist of public space, rationality, communication, and knowledge. Our reading specifically tackles the meaning of modernity, bringing together many of themes we have tackled this year.
