Different Class is a group dedicated to thinking critically about society and politics. We hold seminar-style discussions that aim for an understanding of a given text and its relevance to the contemporary world. Attendees don't need any special background knowledge to participate and it's fine if you find the text hard to get to grips with -- that's part of what the discussion's for!

Different Class is organised by Big Ideas and programmed and chaired in seasons by either Dr Jonathan White or Dr Andrew McGettigan.
