Society, government and public life

Digital is transforming the way we function as a society, how we are governed and how we participate in public life. We're planning presentations and discussions to explore where we're headed and how we as digital specialists can make a positive contribution.

This is a complex and wide reaching subject so I'm very pleased to have gathered together some very experienced thinkers in this field.

Tracy Green is Head of Online Services at UK Parliament

Dominic Campbell is the Founder/Director of FutureGov a local government consultancy

Ian Huckvale is a UX specialist and Head of User Engagement at Reading Room

Will Perrin is a former technology advisor to Tony Blair and the founder of Talk About Local.

Janet Hughes leads on policy and strategy issues for the GDS identity assurance programme

Veronika Pechova is a UX Designer and Creative Lead at Reading Room

Thanks for a great session. I particularly liked the reference to S*P being S**T. The ever suffering internal customer.

Nice balance between food for thought and entertainment (sometimes all in the same session!)

Thanks for a great discussion - after spending the last 12 years in Singapore it was kinda liberating to be able to attend an open forum discussion about digital citizenry and Govt! :)

Great ideas and open discussions on the theme. Nice to attend a meetup organised round ideas rather than a skill set

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
