Digital Edge 6 - Growing your digital business panel

This month we decided to have a panel themed around growing your digital business. We have brought in 5 panellists to hold Q&A session, with a chance to submit your questions in advance.
Confirmed panelists are;
Ben Holden - Cahoona, a digital agency from Manchester up for 2 Bigchip awards this year. Ben has grown an agency and is able to advise on growing your digital business.
Sabine H Douglas - IT Recruitment Consultant at Venturi Ltd and organiser of MoMoMcr. Sabine has extensive knowledge talent acquisition.
Julie Finch - Non-Exec Director/Advisor at Axon Birch Limited, Past President + Deputy President Stockport LCC at Greater Manchester Chamber.
Alex Oppenheim - Owner, ADOmedia Ltd a dynamic creative design agency based in Macclesfield. Good local knowledge on growing digital business.
Chris Garrett - Owner of Abstraktion an emerging digital studio, currently working for Channel 4, Google & Universal. Having sold two companies Chris can advise on exit strategy and merging businesses.

Another great meet up last night thank you!
I'd just like to second what was said by the panel about how it's the little things (in the grand scheme) that can help with keeping a team together.
We have regular days together as a team (clay pigeon shooting was fun!) and as Sabine mentioned too, we make a point of going out for a meal whenever somebody joins us. These are things that have certainly helped to make us as much friends as we are colleagues.
I think Volker mentioned this also: we have a monthly meeting when we discuss everything about our business, so that everyone feels involved in how it's working, how they're contributing, and the rationale behind the direction of the business.
It seems to be working as we have a good few "long service award" plaques on the wall (two above my desk!), which is another nice thing to do, and shows we're appreciated. I'm sure it can only be good for the business because getting the right people - and keeping them - is so important.

Is anyone interested in getting some food at the venue? (possibly if you have just came straight from work) There will be excellent craft ale, Belgian beers, farmhouse ciders, fine wine, tea & coffee.
It would be great to keep this event free, and if a few people ordered food and have a couple of drinks that would really help with this.
