What I felt last night at the Opening of the Digital Harbor Tech Center is expressed so well in this quote:

“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”

It was difficult last night knowing I was missing an incredible evening, with a group of students I have been fortunate to have come into my life. I would have loved to have been their to celebrate the Grand Opening with you. Take care and see you soon. God Bless!! To Shaquille Brooks, keep putting one foot in front of the other and let God lead the way. While days may seem long, in the end, you will look back and see what you have become through perseverance and the many who benefit. You are strong, even on days you don't think you can be. That is what we all go through. It is called life. See you soon.

As a student, I am extremely thankful that everything slid into place like it did. Also, being a part of putting things together, getting rid of older things, cleaning things, basically being a part of I'm so excited and I cannot wait for what to future holds- for not just the opening, but for the opportunities it will bring to many.
