Description: Almost everyone you talk to these days has an idea that will make millions of dollars or will change the world. Some of these ideas are brilliant and unique, with a pent up demand that is sure to make them a success--yet they fail. Others are extremely challenging from day one, they seem to be too late to the market, and yet they take off in a way that is unimaginable. Why is this? Drawing from the success and failures I have experienced, I will discuss the three things that made our business thrive. The key elements of executing on our vision are people, timing, and technology. When these elements come together amazing things happen. When one is absent things fall apart pretty quickly.
More about our speaker: DotLoop CTO Matt Vorst leads the technical direction and product innovation for DotLoop, Inc. He developed the company’s cutting-edge web-based technology and is responsible scaling the DotLoop transaction hub. He is currently working to expand DotLoop tools and services to industries beyond real estate. Matt is an innovator with 15+ years of startup and development experience at web-based solution companies. Prior to his work with DotLoop, Matt was co-owner of Net Business Systems and worked as a Senior Web Developer with Bridge Worldwide. Matt co-founded and launched several other web-based companies and played an important role with technology powerhouses, such as Rockwell Automation and Entek IRD.
About the Digital Xchange:
The Cincinnati Digital Xchange (CDX) is a monthly event to hear from speakers and exchange thoughts and ideas about the digital space. The focus is on the latest trends in digital marketing and topics include "all things digital" (e.g., social media, location-based services, mobile). The cornerstone of the event is to better understand new and upcoming trends, marketing strategies, and measurement/evaluation of digital marketing performance.
