UPDATE: I paid the place a visit and it is quite small but does have seating for about 20 of us, so I set the RSVP level accordingly. Please know 1,000% that you will FOR SURE be attending about a week before, so that if we do end up with a waiting list those folks who that end up on it will have a chance to attend this groovy event, mon! Thank you!
So I saw a sign for this place the other day and decided we would have to check it out, mon. Now, I haven't been yet, but from what I can tell it is a tiny little place, so be warned that seating may be limited. I will update this a little later, but a Tuesday crowd should be smaller anyways. Also, Tuesday, August 6th is Jamaican Independence Day from Britain so hence this falling mid week.
Since the place is so casual there is no RSVP deposit, but please do so with integrity. I am looking forward to having some great Jerk Chicken and other Jamaican fare, so I hope you will join us!
Here is a Yelp review: "Very comfy and casual establishment. Friendly service that makes you want to return daily. The food was delicious with hearty portions. I had the oxtail and jerk chicken dinner plate and it was fantastic! The oxtails were so tender and seasoned heavily and to perfection. The jerk chicken was fresh off the grill and reminded me of sandy Caribbean beaches where I have enjoyed mouth watering cuisine like this before. Washed it all down with a bottle of refreshing Ting. I will certainly be back, and will drag everyone I know along for some good eats. Great job guys! Thanks for keeping it authentic!"
See you in August to celebrate Jamaican style, mon.
