The Wild Cow Vegetarian Restaurant

To make a reservation for us, I had to give them my credit card number.  Unless I lower the reservation number ahead of time, I will be charged a $10 penalty for each person that does not attend.  Please keep your rsvp current and call or text me at the number below if you can't make it the day of the event by 5:00 p.m.  If you can't make it and don't update your rsvp/call by 5:00 p.m., you are agreeing to reimburse me the $10 if you rsvp yes for this meetup, and I'm charged $10.  Thank you for your cooperation as I want us to enjoy popular restaurants like Wild Cow together that have these policies in place to protect themselves due to their small size.  Also, in case it takes a little while for everyone to be served, do not attend if you are in a hurry.  Thanks!

The Wild Cow serves vegetarian & vegan fare in a fun, casual environment in the heart of East Nashville. I went for dinner a few months ago and really liked it even though I'm not a vegetarian. Non-vegetarians will find plenty of tasty entrees to choose from. I hope you can join us.

My cell number is [masked] if you don't spot me or are running late. Reservation is under Derek.

Our RSVP policy "When you rsvp yes for a meetup, we ask that you attend or change your rsvp to “no” no later than 24 hours prior to the event. This will allow an opportunity for other members to make a reservation. If a member habitually doesn’t attend a reservation or cancels a few hours before the meetup which hurts the chances of others to attend, we may have to remove that member from the group. We also ask that members are courteous to staff at the restaurants we frequent to ensure our group will be welcomed back. Thanks!"

p.s. For those who were wondering how long this place has been here, they opened up in 2009. I was walking down the hallway before I left and caught a glimpse of a framed article from the paper about dining experiences in Nashville. It had them listed and mentioned when they first opened.

I had heard good things about this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Yummy, and VERY healthy (something I'm only occasionally used to eating), meal. And, as always, a nice dining experience.

I've never been to Wild Cow when it's this cold. It's a small restaurant with one door connecting to the outside 5 feet from where our table will be. I suggest dressing warmly with a forecasted temperature of 19 degrees at 7:00 p.m.

Karen - this meetup may be the exception but normally a few spots always open up. I had a reservation for 24 at Yellow Porch at one point with a waiting list on top of that yet only 15 members ended up attending. I'm needing to eat healthier so if some members don't get in this time, I'll do another meetup there soon. It's such a small restaurant, I've been told any more than 12 is a problem for seating.

When I first saw the email there were 8 spots left. I got a phone call and steped away for just a minute--it was full when I came back! I've been wanting to try this place.

Driving back from Louisville that day I think I'll be back in time to join the group - and I've also been wanting to try this for quite some time - thanks for organizing
