Welcome friends! This meetup is for those who enjoy dining out in Greater Nashville including Franklin. We also play trivia together at local restaurants and pubs. Only meetups that say Trivia Time! in the title will involve trivia. If you would like to make new friends while having an "Absolutely Fabulous" dining experience or playing trivia, join us! Our goal is to schedule restaurants/trivia venues that have good ambiance and service to create a comfortable environment for getting to know each other better while we dine. There are no membership dues for this group. We only ask that you follow the rsvp policy below.
We'll eat at a wide-variety of restaurants including those serving brunch, sushi, ethnic food and ones that cater to vegetarians and vegans.
Sometimes service for meetups takes longer when we dine out as a group, especially at smaller or locally-owned restaurants, and members should only attend if they have a couple of hours for dinner to be safe. Trivia games usually take 2 hours as well. We'll go to places that have delicious cuisine, but this meetup is not for those whose primary goal is to be a food critic. For example, a Mexican restaurant with the best ambiance for a group might not have the best Mexican cuisine in town. Since the places we visit sometimes look at our meetup events, any concerns expressed on this meetup's webpage about the restaurants we frequent should be polite constructive criticisms rather than petty comments.
Our RSVP policy "When you rsvp yes for a meetup, we ask that you attend or change your rsvp to “no” no later than 24 hours prior to the event. This will allow an opportunity for other members to make a reservation/move from the waiting list to going or allow the event host to call the restaurant and lower the reservation number if necessary. If a member habitually doesn’t attend a reservation or cancels a few hours before the meetup which hurts the chances of others to attend, we may have to remove that member from the group. We also ask that members are courteous to staff at the restaurants we frequent to ensure our group will be welcomed back. Thanks!"

On a final but important note, this is a dining meetup group. It is NOT a singles meetup. We have married members in the group, members in relationships, and members just not interested in dating. Members have a right not to be harassed. Anyone engaging in creepy behavior towards other members will be removed. If you are only looking for dates or hook-ups, this is not the group for you. There are plenty of dating sites and singles groups for that.
