Opens February 12,[masked] hr 42 min

PG-13 | Intense sequences of action including frenetic gun violence throughout, brief strong language, sensuality and some drug material.

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years – and it’s meant billions for OmniCorp’s bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) – a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit – is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice. Full synopsis

I guess meetup.com really was offline like you said. Your last message wasn't delivered until 2am today (Tuesday)!

Lisa -- did you originally set this date or did you add that later? If added it later, I don't think I'm being notified of that.

No, there's meetup.com emails are not filtered by my email service provider. If you are sending out an explicit email or adding a specific comment like this one, I'm sure I'd see it. It's just mere direct edits of the meeting info that I'm not sure I'm notified of.

Saw RoboCop already. It was a good time. I rematched the original and I think I like it better. Very different movies so we can blame nostalgia.

I never saw the original. I might go back and watch it after I see this one, but I wanted to see this one with fresh eyes. Same reason that I will often read the book *after* see the movie because once I read the book, the movie just isn't the same for me.

    Is 12 the correct time?

I don't know yet. As of yesterday, the theatre only released times up to Thursday. I'm still waiting for Sunday movie times to be released. When it is, I'll update and send an e-mail. Sorry I can't give a definite time sooner.
