the movie grew on me and I ended up liking it though it took me awhile to get engaged with it. the scenes of the brutality of the Pinochet regime made me think of an excellent 1982 film (Missing by costa gavras (sp?) about the coup in which the Pinochet came to power

Well, I spent all afternoon killing time in downtown SB, only to arrive and find myself on time and half an hour late. No email received. So that's that, I guess. I even brought a little "Meetup" sign for the table from another event last night. Keep in touch.

Hi Richard, Im sorry to hear you missed us. Try to check your e-mail settings so meet-up email doesn't go to your spam folder. In case that does happen I always post a reminder on the event's wall. Hope to meet you at a future meet up.

I'll be there. I've heard good things about Nitric Oxide.... (Am I missing something here?)

I just sent out the e-mail to everyone. NO won. It begins at 430 at the Hitchcock Movie theatre and then we will walk over to the Natural Cafe for dinner. Thanks to an awesome meet up member I realized Flavor of India is closed on Sundays.
See you all at 430 tomorrow!

In any case, despite my fondness for the now-elder Harrison Ford, my vote would go for Renoir. I think I'm burned out on the racial discrimination thing, and I know next to nothing about Monsieur Renoir, so here's an opportunity to learn.

Would anyone like to give me a ride to the movie? I assume we will go to the movie after dinner, right?

I would like to go to Renoir, but No is O.K. too. I don't own a computer , so , could someone call me at[masked] and leave a message about where to meet first? I don't own a computer.

I misunderstood the way to vote. I voted for No not realizing it was the name of the movie and thought it was Renoir at 4:30. So can I change my vote to Renoir at the Riviera???

It looks like most people are voting to see NO. That would be fine.
You have it listed at the Hitchcock theater at 4:30 but the only listing I see is for 5:00 at the Riviera - unless the times change for the weekend lineup? So then dinner after the movie?

I am very happy to eat at the Flovor of India. What movie? Oh, I will accept The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Ginger & Rosa, Olympus has fallen, No, or Renoir. I think I might like Renoir the most. Hey but who can see into the future , anyway?
