*General Program classes (classes open to everyone) usually begin with a guided meditation. The meditation is followed by a 40 minute teaching on an aspect of the series topic for that month. After the teaching there is usually another brief guided meditation as well as a question and answer period.
Sundays in June - Living Our Potential
By grasping at things far too concretely, we perceive a world of limitation. We feel stuck with our habits, our routines and our “self”. Buddha guides us to an experience of our mind and our reality that enables us to let go of our sense of a concrete, limited self in a concrete, limited world. Through meditating deeply on the nature of the mind, we can actually begin to taste the stillness and clarity that lies within. This stillness, and insights that arise naturally from this special meditation, show us our potential for the deepest freedom and peace. We’ll explore how we can live this potential, moment by moment, in our daily lives, abiding in a state of limitless possibility.
