If you could go on a month vacation, (no work, no bills, no thought of the expense...) where would you go and what would you do? Or, would you just stay home with the phone off the hook?

Definitely Italy, love that country

What generally inspires you to "get out"?... are you an early bird or a night owl? Do you prefere inside or outside? Traveler? Tell us a little about you...

Born and reared in OK, but have lived in NM since '69. Retired educator who loves to travel. Have three dogs so spend time at the dog park almost daily. Like indoor and outdoor activities, sometimes it depends upon the weather whether or not I participate. I used to read book, but after a couple of moves with almost a hundred book boxes, have donated the hardbacks and now use my iPod and audio books. Still "read/listen" to 3-4 books per week. Love mysteries, my favorite authors are David Baldacci, Michael Connelly, Lee Child, Patricia Cornwell and others. I have two daughters, two awesome sons in law and then the grandchildren. There are three and they are truly wonderful kids.

Are you new to Albuquerque, or do you just want to get out and explore more, try something different?

i've lived in NM since '69, and Albuquerque since '72. I am always ready for an adventure. No hand gliding or parachuting for me. I have camped in tents for my last time and now am ready for an RV type of camping. But there are still places to see and to revisit.

I've lived in NM since '69. Love the area, weather and life style. Retired educator living with three dogs. Lots of hours at the dog park for them. They are precious.

What Marilyn H. is saying about this Meetup Group

Only got to meet for dinner, grandson's last school musical. But look forward to the next one. Met some new people and enjoyed the conversation.
