Planetarium Program: Star of Wonder

  • December 19, 2009 · 7:15 PM
  • Von Braun Planetarium

Join us at 7:30pm on Saturday, December 19th for a family-friendly program at the
VBAS Planetarium. What exactly was the object the Wise men saw? Each year at this special time, we turn back the hands of time to look into the sky of long ago & to search for this mysterious object. As we ponder the skies of Bethlehem, we'll explore several possibilities including comets, meteors, novae & other phenomena. Bring the whole family. This program will be interesting and fun for all ages. Admission is $5 for Adults, $3 for Students, and free for children under 6, as well as for members! Location: [
Map, Get Directions] The show begins promptly at 7:30pm. Be there early to get parking, walk to planetarium, and get a seat inside. The walk is very dark -- a tiny flashlight may help guide you from your car to the building. This meetup event is informational and your attendance is self-guiding. If you see other meetup members there, feel free to say hello. Take the kids, they will love it. Previous VBAS event:

Note: newcomers to this destination; Google maps may route you through High Mountain Estates or upper Bankhead Parkway. These paths are not open. Travel up Monte Sano on Governors Drive (Hwy 431) and turn North at the top onto Monte Sano Blvd. If using the google map directions, drag the blue route line and drop it on Governors Drive/431 to adjust the map route.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
