THE ARTIST - Movie Screening Featuring an original Live Score

Long Beach Cinematheque is excited to partner with the Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Long Beach Convention Center for a one-night-only, unique evening of cinema and music, as we present the 2011 indie sensation The Artist as it’s never been seen and heard before – under the stars on the rooftop of the Long Beach Arena parking structure, and with an original live score written and performed by the Balboa Amusement Company Orchestra!

Admission to the movie is free; parking in the structure is $10 per car.  Additional details can be found at http://lbcinema.org/the-artist-live/.  We will be there at about 6:30 to save space, and will post further details about our exact location then.

      Hiya gang, ...sry couldn't/didn't find anyone fr.group - partly cuz my phone juice faded. But not sry I arrived in time to enjoy a very charming flick w/live orchestra (the best part btw, along the gorgeous LBC lit skyscrapers backdrop) As pix posted shows, can't tell which I'm more enamored with: both the skyline + movie made a summer sweet experience!

      More lovely, I actually ran into other Meetup friends who didn't post this on their calendar but still rallied some troops to hangout. Fun time connecting & hopefully won't miss some of ya in future events. Major thx tho for ur organizing efforts to Marilyn & more. Sometimes my radar miss the mark finding ppl but certainly not uncovering hidden gems of goodness like this w/help fr.group such as y'all. =}

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
