Welcome to Toronto!

As one of the most diverse and colourful cities in the world, Toronto has a lot of hidden gems to offer.
Our goal is to find and enjoy them while making new friends in the process. If you wonder how to meet or make friends in Toronto, the answer is simple:
We will attend festivals, cultural events, concerts, movies, explore new taste buds and more. If you have event ideas, or know about an interesting place or two share them with us. If you have a camera (of any sort) bring it to an event since we will have ample opportunities to capture that unique shot you have been looking for.
If you know an interesting coffee shop, a small restaurant (cheaper the better) or anything that catches your attention and you feel you must let others know about this place or event, please email them to us. We will certainly try to turn them into an event ASAP. We can also assign you as an event host if you like.
We strive to find free or low cost events that take place in Toronto since it is possible to have fun without spending too much (especially in these hard times), so, please keep this in mind when proposing events. Also this group has no commercial aspirations. It is a non profit, grassroots-community help me, help you fellow Torontonian kind of thing.

Remember, Toronto can be beautiful in the winter as well as in the summer :), so quit staring at that idle screen and come discover it with us while sharing a couple laughs and have good time.
